Computer Lab Donated by Paul Hacker /DBA SaaS Made Easy Paul Hacker /DBA SaaS Made Easy donated 10 brand new computers for a few reasons. 1. The club had some very outdated equipment that was in need of repair, but was not in a condition to repair. They were just too old. 2. The children need to able to stay up on technology and the clubs need to offer tech related classes with current equipment did not allow for either of those things to happen. 3. Kids were just unable to do much with the computers the club had, and therefore did not use them in a constructive way.
The mission: As a technologist, I firmly believe in giving back to the local community from a technology perspective. All children, no matter what the circumstances, have a right to be able to use technology to empower themselves. Children need technology to provide opportunities that they may not get elsewhere. I believe that the programs offered at the Boys & Girls Club can greatly enhance children's learning outside of the regular school day. I feel an obligation to help them out whenever possible.
