Corner Vise Hosts Boys and Girls Club Fine Art Exhibit
On Friday, January 9, 2009, Corner Vise Art Gallery on 110 S. Main Street in downtown Zionsville hosted the Boys and Girls Club of Zionsville’s First Annual Fine Art Exhibit. Children from the club had been preparing fine art pieces for display in the show for months. Some of them stated that this was the first time they had ever been in a real art gallery. They were beaming at the sight of their art work hanging on display with so many other talented professional artists. Every child who submitted their art work for the show was recognized at the event with a certificate of achievement, as well as a generous gift certificate from Corner Vise so that they could get their art work framed. Our great friends at Corner Vise even arranged art teachers from the community to judge the art work, and the pieces selected were sent on to a Boys and Girls Club of America Regional Art Exhibit for further judging in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
